Spring semester classes have ended, so I have updated my portfolio to include my final projects. These include a strategic design plan for Rural Transit (a local non-profit organization) and an electronic notepad to support collaborative meetings.
CHI 2008 is officially over, and the IU School of Informatics had quite a good showing. My team, Enroll Me!, made it to the final round, and we were awarded third place on Thursday, April 10.
In addition, this week also brought news that my IPv6 paper has been accepted to this summer's WEIS workshop for a Summary Presentation.
Today we received word that my team's submission to the CHI 2008 Student Design Competition was chosen as a top 12 finalist. We will be traveling to Florence, Italy to present our design April 5-10.
All of my currently completed projects are now posted. I will add projects throughout the semester as they are completed. Highlights may include an interactive museum exhibit design, a study of technology and elders, and research in computer-supported cooperative work.
